Refund & Cancellation Policy for Atlas Notary
At Atlas Notary, we value your time and trust. Our goal is to provide professional and dependable notary and loan signing services to every client.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds or reschedules may apply and how we handle payments for completed services.
General Policy
Having said that, a Refund Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers regarding how and if you will provide them with a refund. Online businesses selling products are sometimes required (depending on local laws and regulations) to present their product return policy and refund policy. In some jurisdictions, this is needed in order to comply with consumer protection laws. It may also help you avoid legal claims from customers that are not satisfied with the products they purchased.
Travel and Mobile Fees
All travel or convenience fees are non-refundable once the notary is en route or has arrived at the scheduled location — even if the signing cannot be completed due to missing documents or identification.
Loan Signing Appointments
For loan signings, payment is typically made through escrow, title, or signing companies. Refunds or adjustments will follow the policies of the contracting company and are not issued directly by Atlas Notary unless agreed upon in writing.
Service Errors
If Atlas Notary is unable to complete a notarial act or appointment due to our own error or scheduling conflict, a full refund or no-cost reschedule will be offered immediately.
Refund & Insurance Policy
At Atlas Notary, we strive to provide exceptional, reliable, and professional notarial services.
However, we understand that certain circumstances may require a review or refund.

Refunds may be issued if a notarization is not completed due to an error made by our notary.

No refunds will be given once a notarization has been successfully performed in accordance with state law.

Travel, convenience, or service fees are non-refundable once the appointment has begun.

Any refund requests must be made within 7 days of the appointment date.
Insurance Coverage
Atlas Notary is fully insured with Errors and Omissions (E&O) Professional Liability Insurance.
This coverage protects both our clients and our business from unforeseen mistakes or omissions during the notarization process.
While we take every measure to ensure accuracy, this insurance provides peace of mind and accountability for every signing.
